Adirondack Living Show Returns for the 6th annual "springtime edition"

Queensbury, NY. – More than 180 exhibits featuring thousands of products and services related to Adirondack living will be showcased within the Adirondack Sports Complex before an estimated 15,000 consumers for what has been coined “a celebration of camps, Adirondack art & rustic living.”

The Adirondack Living Show’s growth over the last five years has been fueled by continued investments in second home and vacation property ownership.

According to USA Today, “Americans snapping up second homes-as investments or vacation properties-accounted for four out of every 10 sales of existing homes last year (40%), a record that helped drive the real estate market to new highs, according to a report released from the National Association of Realtors”. Not surprisingly, The Adirondack Living Show has mirrored this growth over the last four years and has evolved into a unique forum for 2nd home-owners and “Adirondack Style” enthusiasts to join a celebration featuring artisans, builders and general purveyors of unique Adirondack-themed products.

Whether a consumer is considering building or re-decorating a camp, country home or “safe-haven” or would just like to learn how to re-decorate a room in the “rustic style”, they owe it to themselves to attend this, the largest Adirondack living event in the country.

Among those exhibiting will be a veritable “who’s who” of rustic furniture makers, dock builders, boats of every description, painters, carvers, sculptors, landscape photographers, log home builders, timber framers, Advocacy groups, lighting specialists, Adirondack guides and many others.

The Adirondack Living Show also presents an opportunity for those wishing to purchase land or have a lakefront/country oasis designed and built, or for those currently enjoying two season properties, having their existing camps or chalets turned into year round homes.

Rustic furniture, an anchor exhibit at the Adirondack Living Shows since inception, was once just a furnishing taste reserved for the rich Great Camp owners of the Adirondacks. Now architecturally accepted as “real furniture these same rustic “one-of-a-kind” heirloom quality furnishings handcrafted from roots, twigs, birch and hickory, are being acquired the same way antiques used to be, and are intertwined with contemporary furnishings and/or antiques in a staggering number of principal residences, lodges, lofts and living rooms.

Developed by Great White Productions of Clifton Park, veteran show producer Jeff Fraser has earned a reputation for superlative show production through 25 years of event development as well as through major market media experience in radio, TV, P.R., governmental advocacy, magazine publishing, syndication, and affinity marketing programs. He is also the Executive Producer and host of Adirondack Living TV and the Publisher of Adirondack Living Magazine.
